At-Tauba (The Repentance) 9:19
Do you, perchance, regard the [mere] giving of water to pilgrims and the tending of the Inviolable House of Worship as being equal to [the works of] one who believes in God and the Last Day and strives hard in God's cause? These [things] are not equal in the sight of God. And God does not grace with His guidance people who [deliberately] do wrong.
Mera Aeena’ay Dil Hai Qaza Ke Raaz Danon Mein
This also is an effect of my tumultuous love
That my heart’s mirrors are Destiny’s confidante
[Tumultuous love; A tumultuous relationship is a rocky relationship that has very high highs and very low lows. It is characterized by lots of disagreements and fights, ups and downs, and confusion.]
Sifat-e-Jangah Mein Mardan-e-Khuda Ki Takbeer
Josh-e-Kirdar Se Banti Hai Khuda Ki Awaz
The prayers of God’s folk treading the battlefield’s red sod,
Forged in that flame of action become the voice of God!
Arsa-e-Paikar Mein Hangama-e-Shamsheer Kya
Khoon Ko Garmane Wala Nara-e-Takbeer Kya
Neither the tumult of the sword in the battle!
Nor the cry of blood warming Takbir!
