Qaf 50:16

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ

اور ہم ہی نے انسان کو پیدا کیا ہے اور جو خیالات اس کے دل میں گزرتے ہیں ہم ان کو جانتے ہیں۔ اور ہم اس کی رگ جان سے بھی اس سے زیادہ قریب ہیں

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

Surat Al-Mujādila (The Pleading Woman) - سورة المجادلة 58:7

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ مَا يَڪُونُ مِن نَّجۡوَىٰ ثَلَـٰثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمۡ وَلَا خَمۡسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُہُمۡ وَلَآ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ذَٲلِكَ وَلَآ أَڪۡثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمۡ أَيۡنَ مَا كَانُواْ‌ۖ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ

کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا الله جانتا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں اور زمین میں ہے (یہاں تک) کہ جو کوئی مشورہ تین آدمیوں میں ہوتا ہے تو وہ چوتھا ہوتا ہے اور جو پانچ میں ہوتا ہے تو وہ چھٹا ہوتا ہے اور خواہ اس سے کم کی سرگوشی ہو یا زیادہ کی مگر وہ ہر جگہ ان کے ساتھ ہوتا ہے پھر انہیں قیامت کے دن بتائے گا کہ وہ کیا کرتے تھے بے شک الله ہر چیز کو جاننے والا ہے

Have you not seen that Allâh SWT knows whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth? There is no Najwa (secret counsel) of three, but He is their fourth (with His Knowledge, while He Himself is over the Throne, over the seventh heaven), nor of five but He is their sixth (with His Knowledge), not of less than that or more, but He is with them (with His Knowledge) wheresoever they may be; And afterwards on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Verily, Allâh SWT is the All-Knower of everything.

Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:186

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

اور (اے پیغمبر) جب تم سے میرے بندے میرے بارے میں دریافت کریں تو (کہہ دو کہ) میں تو (تمہارے) پاس ہوں جب کوئی پکارنے والا مجھے پکارتا ہے تو میں اس کی دعا قبول کرتا ہوں تو ان کو چاہیئے کہ میرے حکموں کو مانیں اور مجھ پر ایمان لائیں تاکہ نیک رستہ پائیں

And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near. I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.

Al-Infitar (The Cleaving) 82:6

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ

O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

اے انسان تجھے اپنے رب کریم کے بارے میں کس چیز نے مغرور کر دیا

Al-Furqan (The Criterion) 25:43

أَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا

Have you ever considered the case of him who has taken his carnal desire (animal lust or physical need) for his god? Can you take responsibility for guiding him to the Right Way?

Al-Jathiya (The Kneeling) 45:23

أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَهَهُ هَوَاهُ وَأَضَلَّهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلَى سَمْعِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَجَعَلَ عَلَى بَصَرِهِ غِشَاوَةً فَمَن يَهْدِيهِ مِن بَعْدِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So, who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?

Surat Al-Ĥujurāt 49:17

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيۡكَ أَنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْ‌ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّواْ عَلَىَّ إِسۡلَـٰمَكُم‌ۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنۡ هَدَٮٰكُمۡ لِلۡإِيمَـٰنِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِينَ

آپ پر اپنے اسلام لانے کا احسان جتاتے ہیں کہہ دو مجھ پراپنے اسلام لانے کا احسان نہ جتلاؤ بلکہ الله تم پر احسان رکھتا ہے کہ اس نے ایمان کی طرف تمہاری رہنمائی کی اگر تم سچے ہو

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, "Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."

Fatakum (You Failed to Get)

Al-Hadid (Iron) 57:23

لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

[Know this,] so that you may not despair over whatever [good] you failed to get nor exult [unduly] over whatever [good] has come to you: for, God does not love any of those who, out of self-conceit, act in a boastful manner.

تاکہ جو چیز تمہارے ہاتھ سے جاتی رہے اس پر رنج نہ کرو اور جو تمہیں دے اس پر اتراؤ نہیں اور الله کسی اترانے والے شیخی خورے کو پسند نہیں کرتا

Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:153

إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلاَ تَلْوُونَ عَلَى أحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غُمَّاً بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلاَ تَحْزَنُواْ عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلاَ مَا أَصَابَكُمْ وَاللّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

[Remember the time] when you fled, paying no heed to anyone, while at your rear the Apostle was calling out to you - wherefore He requited you with woe in return for [the Apostle's] woe, so that you should not grieve [merely] over what had escaped you, nor over what had befallen you: for God is aware of all that you do.

جس وقت تم چڑھے جاتے تھے اور کسی کو مڑ کر نہ دیکھتے تھے اور رسول تمہیں تمہارےپیچھے سے پکار رہا تھا سو الله نے تمہیں اس کی پاداش میں غم دیا بسبب غم دینے کے تاکہ تم مغموم نہ ہو اس پر جو ہاتھ سے نکل گئی اور نہ اس پر جو تمہیں پیش آئی اور الله خبردار ہے اس چیز سے جو تم کرتے ہو

Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:216

كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Fighting is ordained for you, even though it be hateful to you; but it may well be that you hate a thing the while it is good for you, and it may well be that you love a thing the while it is bad for you: and God knows, whereas you do not know.

تم پر جہاد فرض کیا گیا ہے اور وہ تمہیں ناگوار ہے اور ممکن ہے تم کسی چیز کو ناگوار سمجھو اور وہ تمہارے لیے بہتر ہو اور ممکن ہے کہ تم کسی چیز کو پسند کرو اور وہ تمہارے لیے مضر ہو اور الله ہی جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتے

An-Nisa (The Women) 4:19

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَرِثُواْ النِّسَاء كَرْهًا وَلاَ تَعْضُلُوهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُواْ بِبَعْضِ مَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ إِلاَّ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِن كَرِهْتُمُوهُنَّ فَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئًا وَيَجْعَلَ اللّهُ فِيهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا

O you who have attained to faith! It is not lawful for you to [try to] become heirs to your wives [by holding onto them] against their will; and neither shall you keep them under constraint with a view to taking away anything of what you may have given them, unless it be that they have become guilty, in an obvious man­ner, of immoral conduct. And consort with your wives in a goodly manner; for if you dislike them, it may well be that you dislike something which God might yet make a source of abundant good.

اے ایمان والو! تمہیں یہ حلال نہیں کہ زبردستی عورتوں کو میراث میں لے لو اور ان کو اس واسطے نہ روکے رکھو کہ ان سے کچھ اپنا دیا ہوا مال واپس لے لو ہاں اگر وہ کسی صریح بدچلنی کا ارتکاب کریں اور عورتوں کے ساتھ اچھی طرح سے زندگی بسر کرو اگر وہ تمہیں نا پسند ہوں تو ممکن ہے کہ تمہیں ایک چیز پسند نہ آئے مگر الله نے اس میں بہت کچھ بھلائی رکھی ہو

Fussilat (Explained in Detail) 41:30

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

[But,] behold, as for those who say, “Our Sustainer is God,” and then steadfastly pursue the right way - upon them do angels often descend, [say­ing:] “Fear not and grieve not but receive the glad tiding of that paradise which has been promised to you!

بے شک جنہوں نے کہا تھا کہ ہمارا رب الله ہے پھر اس پر قائم رہے ان پر فرشتے اتریں گے کہ تم خوف نہ کرو اور نہ غم کرو اور جنت میں خوش رہو جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا

Al-Ahqaf (The Curved Sandhills) 46:13

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

for, behold, all who say, “Our Sustainer is God”, and thereafter stand firm [in their faith] - no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve.

بے شک جنہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب الله ہے پھر اسی پر جمے رہے پس ان پر کوئی خوف نہیں اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے

Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:139

وَلاَ تَهِنُوا وَلاَ تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنتُمُ الأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers. اورسست نہ ہو اور غم نہ کھاؤ اور تم ہی غالب رہو گے

An-Nisa (The Women) 4:104

وَلاَ تَهِنُواْ فِي ابْتِغَاء الْقَوْمِ إِن تَكُونُواْ تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمونَ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَرْجُونَ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا

And be not faint of heart when you seek out the [enemy] host. If you happen to suffer pain, behold, they suffer pain even as you suffer it: but you are hoping [to receive] from God what they cannot hope for. And God is indeed all-knowing, wise.

اور ان لوگوں کا پیچھا کرنے سے ہمت نہ ہارو اگر تم تکلیف اٹھاتے ہو تو وہ بھی تمہاری طرح تکلیف اٹھاتے ہیں حالانکہ تم الله سے جس چیز کے امیدوار ہو وہ نہیں ہیں اور الله سب کچھ جاننے والا حکمت ولا ہے

An-Nisa (The Women) 4:69

وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا

For, all who pay heed unto God and the Apostle shall be among those upon whom God has bestowed His blessings: the prophets, and those who never deviated from the truth, and those who [with their lives] bore witness to the truth, and the right­eous ones: and how goodly a company are these!

اورجو شخص الله اور اس کے رسول کا فرمانبردار ہو تو وہ ان کے ساتھ ہوں گے جن پر الله نے انعام کیا وہ نبی اور صدیق اور شہید اور صالح ہیں اور یہ رفیق کیسے اچھے ہیں

2:264

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُبۡطِلُواْ صَدَقَـٰتِكُم بِٱلۡمَنِّ وَٱلۡأَذَىٰ كَٱلَّذِى يُنفِقُ مَالَهُ ۥ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۖ فَمَثَلُهُ ۥ كَمَثَلِ صَفۡوَانٍ عَلَيۡهِ تُرَابٌ۬ فَأَصَابَهُ ۥ وَابِلٌ۬ فَتَرَڪَهُ ۥ صَلۡدً۬ا‌ۖ لَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىۡءٍ۬ مِّمَّا ڪَسَبُواْ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِينَ

اے ایمان والو! احسان رکھ کر اور ایذا دے کے اپنی خیرات کو ضائع نہ کرو اس شخص کی طرح جو اپنا مال لوگوں کے دکھانے کو خرچ کرتا ہے اور الله پر اور قیامت کے دن پر یقین نہیں رکھتا سو اس کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے صاف پتھر کہ اس پر کچھ مٹی پڑی ہو پھر اس پر زور کا مینہ برساپھر اسی کو بالکل صاف کر دیا ایسے لوگوں کو اپنی کمائی ذرا ہاتھ بھی نہ لگے گی اور الله کافروں کو سیدھی راہ نہیں دکھاتا

O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury as does one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a [large] smooth stone upon which is dust and is hit by a downpour that leaves it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they have earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

4:38

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَٲلَهُمۡ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۗ وَمَن يَكُنِ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ لَهُ ۥ قَرِينً۬ا فَسَآءَ قَرِينً۬ا

اور جو لوگ اپنے مالوں کو لوگوں کے دکھانے میں خرچ کرتے ہیں اور اللہ پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان نہیں لاتے اور جس کا شیطان ساتھی ہوا تو وہ بہت برا ساتھی ہے

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

8:47

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَـٰرِهِم بَطَرً۬ا وَرِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ۬

اور ا‘ن لوگوں جیسا نہ ہونا جو اتراتے ہوئے اور لوگوں کو دکھانے کے لیے گھروں سے نکل آئے اور الله کی راہ سے روکتے تھے اور جو کچھ یہ کرتے ہیں الله اس پر احاطہ کرنے والا ہے

And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah SWT. And Allah is encompassing of what they do.

4:95

لَّا يَسۡتَوِى ٱلۡقَـٰعِدُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ غَيۡرُ أُوْلِى ٱلضَّرَرِ وَٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَٲلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِہِمۡ‌ۚ فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدِينَ بِأَمۡوَٲلِهِمۡ وَأَنفُسِہِمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡقَـٰعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً۬‌ۚ وَكُلاًّ۬ وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ‌ۚ وَفَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡقَـٰعِدِينَ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمً۬ا

مسلمانوں میں سے جو لوگ کسی عذر کے بغیر گھر بیٹھے رہتے ہیں اور وہ جو الله کی راہ میں جان و مال سے جہاد کرتے ہیں دونوں برابر نہیں ہیں الله نے بیٹھنے والوں پر جان و مال سے جہاد کرنے والوں کا درجہ بڑھایا دیا ہے اگرچہ ہر ایک سے الله نے بھلائي کا وعدہ کیا ہے اور الله نے لڑنے والوں کو بیٹھنے والوں سے اجر عظیم میں زیادہ کیا ہے

Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah SWT with their wealth and their lives. Allah SWT has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward.

47:31

وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡمُجَـٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ وَنَبۡلُوَاْ أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ

اور ہم تمہیں آزمائیں گے یہاں تک کہ ہم تم میں سے جہاد کرنے والوں کو اور صبر کرنے والوں کو معلوم کر لیں اور تمہارے حالات کو جانچ لیں

And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah SWT] and the patient, and We will test your affairs.

8:30

وَإِذۡ يَمۡكُرُ بِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيُثۡبِتُوكَ أَوۡ يَقۡتُلُوكَ أَوۡ يُخۡرِجُوكَ‌ۚ وَيَمۡكُرُونَ وَيَمۡكُرُ ٱللَّهُ‌ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمَـٰڪِرِينَ

اور جب کافر تیرے متعلق تدبیریں سوچ رہے تھے کہ تمہیں قید کر دیں یا تمہیں قتل کر دیں یا تمہیں دیس بدر کر دیں وہ اپنی تدبیریں کر رہے تھے اور الله ہی اپنی تدبیر کر ہا تھا اور الله بہترین تدبیر کرنے والا ہے

And when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.
