Value of Affection
Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War) 8:63
وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً مَّا أَلَّفَتْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
And He has united (attuned, put affection between) their (i.e. believers') hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allâh SWT has united them. Certainly, He is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

لوگوں کو اتنا مذھبی بنادو کہ وہ محرومیوں کو قسمت سمجھییں - ظلم کو آزمائش سمجھ کر صبر کرلیں - حق کے لیے آواز اٹھانا گناہ سمجھییں - غلامی کو اللہ تعالیٰ کی مصلحت قرار د یں اور قتل کو موت کا وقت سمجھ کر چپ رھیں -
Make people so religious that they consider deprivation as fate. View oppression as a trial and endure it with patience. Consider raising their voice for rights as a sin. Regard slavery as God's will and see murder as the destined time of death and remain silent. (Saadat Hasan Manto)

Al-Hadid (Iron) 57:23
لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ
[Know this,] so that you may not despair over whatever [good] you failed to get nor exult [unduly] over whatever [good] has come to you: for, God does not love any of those who, out of self-conceit, act in a boastful manner.
تاکہ جو چیز تمہارے ہاتھ سے جاتی رہے اس پر رنج نہ کرو اور جو تمہیں دے اس پر اتراؤ نہیں اور الله کسی اترانے والے شیخی خورے کو پسند نہیں کرتا

Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:159
فَبِمَا رَحۡمَةٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمۡ‌ۖ وَلَوۡ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ ٱلۡقَلۡبِ لَٱنفَضُّواْ مِنۡ حَوۡلِكَ‌ۖ فَٱعۡفُ عَنۡہُمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ وَشَاوِرۡهُمۡ فِى ٱلۡأَمۡرِ‌ۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمۡتَ فَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
پھر الله کی رحمت کے سبب سے تو ان کے لیے نرم ہو گیا اور اگرتو تند خو اور سخت دل ہوتا تو البتہ تیرے گرد سے بھاگ جاتے پس انہیں معاف کردے اور ان کے واسطے بخشش مانگ او رکام میں ان سے مشورہ لیا کر پھر جب تو اس کام کا ارادہ کر چکا تو الله پر بھروسہ کر بے شک الله توکل کرنے والے لوگوں کو پسند کرتا ہے

And if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
