Doing good, Oblivious (ignorant) of God, Apportion (allot) of days

Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) 17:7
إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ لِيَسُـۥٓـُٔوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا۟ مَا عَلَوْا۟ تَتْبِيرًا

[And We said:] 'If you persevere in doing good, you will but be doing good to yourselves; and if you do evil, it will be [done] to yourselves.' And so, when the prediction of the second [period of your iniquity] came true, [We raised new enemies against you, and allowed them] to disgrace you utterly, and to enter the Temple as [their forerunners] had entered it once before, and to destroy with utter destruction all that they had conquered.
اگر تم نے بھلائی کی تو اپنے ہی لیےکی اور اگر برائی کی تو وہ بھی اپنے ہی لیےکی پھر جب دوسرا وعدہ آیا تاکہ تمہارے چہروں پر رسوائی پھیر دیں اور مسجد میں گھس جائیں جس طرح پہلی بار گھس گئے تھے اور جس چیز پر قابو پائیں اس کا ستیاناس کر دیں

Al-Hashr (The Gathering) 59:19
وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
and be not like those who are oblivious (ignorant) of God, and whom He therefore causes to be oblivious of [what is good for] their own selves: [for] it is they, they who are truly depraved!
اور ان کی طرح نہ ہوں جنہوں نے الله کو بھلا دیاپھر الله نے بھی ان کو (ایسا کر دیا) کہ وہ اپنے آپ ہی کو بھول گئے یہی لوگ نافرمان ہیں


Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) 3:140

إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ ٱلْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُۥ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَآءَ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

If misfortune  touches you, [know that] similar misfortune has touched [other] people as well; for it is by turns that We apportion (allot) unto men such days [of fortune and misfortune]: and [this] to the end that God might mark out those who have attained to faith, and choose from among you such as [with their lives] bear witness to the truth  - since God does not love evildoers

اگر تمہیں زخم پہنچا ہےتو انہیں بھی ایسا ہی زخم پہنچ چکا ہے اور ہم یہ دن لوگوں میں باری باری بدلتے رہتے ہیں اور تاکہ الله ایمان والوں کو جان لے اور تم میں سے بعضوں کو شہید کرے اور الله ظالموں کو پسند نہیں کرتا

And if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
