Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:217

يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللّهِ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

They will ask thee about fighting in the sacred month. Say: "Fighting in it is an awesome thing (grave transgression); but turning men away from the path of God and denying Him, and [turning them away from] the Inviolable House of Worship and expelling its people there from - [all this] is yet more awesome (greater transgression) in the sight of God, since oppression is more awesome (greater transgression) than killing." [Your enemies] will not cease to fight against you till they have turned you away from your faith, if they can. But if any of you should turn away from his faith and die as a denier of the truth - these it is whose works will go for nought in this world and in the life to come; and these it is who are destined for the fire, therein to abide.

آپ سے حرمت والے مہینے میں لڑائی کے متعلق پوچھتے ہیں کہہ دو اس میں لڑنا بڑا (گناہ) ہے اور الله کے راستہ سے روکنا اور اس کا انکار کرنا اور مسجد حرام سے روکنا اور اس کے رہنے والوں کو اس میں سے نکالنا الله کے نزدیک اس سے بڑا گناہ ہے اور فتنہ انگیزی تو قتل سے بھی بڑا جرم ہے اور وہ تم سے ہمیشہ لڑتے رہیں گے یہاں تک کہ تمہیں تمہارے دین سے پھیر دیں اگر ان کا بس چلےاور جو تم میں سے اپنے دین سے پھر جائے پھر کافر ہی مرجائے پس یہی وہ لوگ ہیں کہ ان کے عمل دنیا اور آخرت میں ضائع ہو گئے اور وہی دوزخی ہیں جو اسی میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے (۲۱۷)

Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:191

وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ وَلاَ تُقَاتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ حَتَّى يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ فَإِن قَاتَلُوكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ كَذَلِكَ جَزَاء الْكَافِرِينَ

And slay them wherever you may come upon them and drive them away from wherever they drove you away - for oppression is even worse than killing. And fight not against them near the Inviolable House of Worship unless they fight against you there first; but if they fight against you, slay them: such shall be the recompense of those who deny the truth.

اور انہیں قتل کرو جہاں پاؤ اور انہیں نکال دو جہاں سے انہوں نےتمہیں نکالا ہے اور غلبہ شرک قتل سے زیادہ سخت ہے اور مسجد حرام کے پاس ان سے نہ لڑو جب تک کہ وہ تم سے یہاں نہ لڑیں پھراگروہ تم سےلڑیں تم بھی انہیں قتل کرو کافروں کی یہی سزا ہے (۱۹۱)

3:7

هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ مِنۡهُ ءَايَـٰتٌ۬ مُّحۡكَمَـٰتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَـٰبِهَـٰتٌ۬‌ۖ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمۡ زَيۡغٌ۬ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَـٰبَهَ مِنۡهُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ وَٱبۡتِغَآءَ تَأۡوِيلِهِۦ‌ۗ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ تَأۡوِيلَهُ ۥۤ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ‌ۗ وَٱلرَّٲسِخُونَ فِى ٱلۡعِلۡمِ يَقُولُونَ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ كُلٌّ۬ مِّنۡ عِندِ رَبِّنَا‌ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّآ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ (٧)

It is He who has sent down to you, the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.

وہی ہے جس نے تجھ پر کتاب اتاری اُس میں بعض آیتیں محکم ہیں (جن کے معنیٰ واضح ہیں) وہ کتاب کی اصل ہیں اور دوسری مشابہ ہیں (جن کے معنیٰ معلوم یا معین نہیں) سو جن لوگو ں کے دل ٹیڑھے ہیں وہ گمراہی پھیلانے کی غرض سے اور مطلب معلوم کرنے کی غرض سے متشابہات کے پیچھے لگتے ہیں اور حالانکہ ان کا مطلب سوائے الله کے اور کوئی نہیں جانتا اور مضبوط علم والے کہتے ہیں ہمارا ان چیزوں پر ایمان ہے یہ سب ہمارے رب کی طرف سےہی ہیں اور نصیحت وہی لوگ مانتے ہیں جو عقلمند ہیں (۷)

4:91

سَتَجِدُونَ ءَاخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَأۡمَنُوكُمۡ وَيَأۡمَنُواْ قَوۡمَهُمۡ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ أُرۡكِسُواْ فِيہَا‌ۚ فَإِن لَّمۡ يَعۡتَزِلُوكُمۡ وَيُلۡقُوٓاْ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلسَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّوٓاْ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَخُذُوهُمۡ وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ حَيۡثُ ثَقِفۡتُمُوهُمۡ‌ۚ وَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكُمۡ جَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡہِمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنً۬ا مُّبِينً۬ا (٩١)

You will find others who wish to obtain security from you and [to] obtain security from their people. Every time they are returned to [the influence of] disbelief, they fall back into it. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer you peace or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them a clear authorization.

ایک اور قسم کے منافق تم دیکھو گے جو چاہتے ہیں تم سے بھی امن میں رہیں اور اپنی قوم سے بھی جب کبھی وہ فساد کی طرف لوٹائے جاتے ہیں تو اس میں کود پڑتے ہیں پھر اگر وہ تم سے یک سو نہ رہیں اور تہارے آگے صلح پیش نہ کریں اور اپنے ہاتھ نہ روکیں تو انہیں جہاں پا پکڑو او رمار ڈالو اور ان پر ہاتھ اٹھانے کے لیے ہم نے تمہیں کھلی حجت دے دی ہے (۹۱)

8:25

وَٱتَّقُواْ فِتۡنَةً۬ لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمۡ خَآصَّةً۬‌ۖ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ (٢٥) 

And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty.

اور تم اس فتنہ سے بچتے رہو جو تم میں سے خاص ظالموں پر ہی نہ پڑے گا اور جان لو کہ بے شک الله سخت عذاب کرنے والا ہے (۲۵)

8:28

 وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٲلُڪُمۡ وَأَوۡلَـٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٌ۬ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُ ۥۤ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٌ۬ (٢٨)

And know that your properties and your children are but a trial and that Allah has with Him a great reward.

 اور جان لو کہ تمہارے مال اور تمہاری اولاد ایک امتحان کی چیز ہے اور بے شک الله کہ ہاں بڑا اجر ہے (۲۸) 

8:39

وَقَـٰتِلُوهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتۡنَةٌ۬ وَيَڪُونَ ٱلدِّينُ ڪُلُّهُ ۥ لِلَّهِ‌ۚ فَإِنِ ٱنتَهَوۡاْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ۬ (٣٩) 

And fight them until there is no fitnah and [until] the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease - then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do.

اور تم ان سے اس حد تک لڑو کہ شرک کا غلبہ نہ رہنے پائے اور سارا دین الله ہی کا ہو جکائے پھر اگر یہ باز آجائیں تو الله ان کے اعمال دیکھنے والا ہے (۳۹)

8:73

 وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بَعۡضُہُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍ‌ۚ إِلَّا تَفۡعَلُوهُ تَكُن فِتۡنَةٌ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَفَسَادٌ۬ ڪَبِيرٌ۬ (٧٣)

And those who disbelieved are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.

 اور جو لوگ کافر ہیں وہ ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں اگر تم یوں نہ کرو گے تو ملک میں فتنہ پھیلے گا اوروہ بڑا فساد ہوگا (۷۳)

9:47

لَوۡ خَرَجُواْ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمۡ إِلَّا خَبَالاً۬ وَلَأَوۡضَعُواْ خِلَـٰلَكُمۡ يَبۡغُونَڪُمُ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ وَفِيكُمۡ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لَهُمۡ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ (٤٧) 

Had they gone forth with you, they would not have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you, seeking [to cause] you fitnah. And among you are avid listeners to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

اگر وہ تم میں نکلتے تو سوائے فساد کے اور کچھ نہ بڑھاتے اور تم میں فساد ڈلوانے کی غرض سے دوڑے دوڑے پھرتے اورتم میں ان کے جاسوس بھی ہیں اور الله ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے (۴۷) 

9:48

 لَقَدِ ٱبۡتَغَوُاْ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَقَلَّبُواْ لَكَ ٱلۡأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ وَهُمۡ ڪَـٰرِهُونَ (٤٨)

They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse.

یہ پہلے بھی فساد کے طالب رہے ہیں اور بہت سی باتوں میں تمہارے لئےالٹ پھیر کرتے رہے ہیں یہاں تک کہ حق آ پہنچا اور الله کا حکم غالب ہوا اور وہ ناخوش ہی رہے (۴۸)

22:53

لِّيَجۡعَلَ مَا يُلۡقِى ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ فِتۡنَةً۬ لِّلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِہِم مَّرَضٌ۬ وَٱلۡقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡ‌ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ لَفِى شِقَاقِۭ بَعِيدٍ۬ (٥٣)

[That is] so He may make what Satan throws in a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension.

تاکہ شیطان کی آمیزش کو ان لوگوں کے لیے آزمائش بنا دے جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے اور جن کے دل سخت ہیں اور بے شک ظالم بڑی ضدی میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں (۵۳)

Value of Affection

Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War) 8:63

وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً مَّا أَلَّفَتْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

اور ان کے قلوب میں اتفاق پیدا کردیا (الفت پیدا کردی) ۔ اور اگر آپ دنیا بھر کا مال خرچ کرتے تب بھی ان کے قلوب میں اتفاق (الفت) پیدا نہ کرسکتے۔ لیکن الله ہی نےان میں باہم اتفاق پیدا کردیا (الفت پیدا کردی) ۔ بےشک وہ زبردست (غالب) حکمت والا ہے۔

And He has united (attuned, put affection between) their (i.e. believers') hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allâh SWT has united them. Certainly, He is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Value of a person

5:32 مِنۡ أَجۡلِ ذَٲلِكَ ڪَتَبۡنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُ ۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفۡسَۢا بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٍ أَوۡ فَسَادٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَڪَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعً۬ا وَمَنۡ أَحۡيَاهَا فَڪَأَنَّمَآ أَحۡيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعً۬ا‌ۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرً۬ا مِّنۡهُم بَعۡدَ ذَٲلِكَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لَمُسۡرِفُونَ

اسی سبب سے ہم نے بنی اسرائیل پر لکھا کہ جس نے کسی انسان کو خون کے بدلے یا زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کے سوا کسی اور وجہ سے قتل کیا گویا اس نے تمام انسانوں کو قتل کر دیا اورجس نے کسی کو زندگی بخشی اس نے گویا تمام انسانوں کی زندگی بخشی اورہمارے رسول ان کے پاس کھلے حکم لا چکے ہیں پھر بھی ان میں سے بہت لوگ زمین میں زیادتیاں کرنے والے ہیں

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allâh by committing the major sins) in the land!.
